Not watched it back yet but thought 2 or 3 of there tries were dubious and couldn't see much wrong with our 2 disallowed scores? But in reality if you can't beat 12 it's irrelevant. I didn't want to see Blair in the half's but it looks the right call now? Marsh can cover half FB and at a push centre but excels in none of those.Lee was shocking.Salters misses on Tumorvave were the pivotal moments. How did they find space out wide with a man down? And we couldn't convert an overlap if Dot Cotton was defending. So much wrong today and could so easily have been different. Will be interesting how Sheens responds to that sack of bilge?

BUT, it's not the video ref, it's the rule that is the problem. At the time Quinlan receives the ball, Blair makes contact with Lane, and this happens directly in the path between Lane and Quinlan. By the rules of the game, this is obstruction.
I do think it was a harsh decision but by the rules of the game it was the correct one. The obstruction rule is just rubbish (As we found out against Leeds a few weeks ago but I bet no Rovers fans complained about that).
no they never, but it dosent make it right needs some looking at as it costs teams points as you found out happening to regularly to various teams

Defence today was shocking. They controlled the pace of the game each half getting long breaks regularly by just f@cking about. Fair play its what you should do but the officials should stop the more blatant time wasting. The game today was run by the video ref which was shocking. The official was a joke for both teams.
Marsh was an abomination who hid. Lee is what we ecpected....sh@te. Shocking last play options, poor kicking and abominable defending lost us the game. Well done to the 12 that won it.

Yeah agreed. As it stands it's just a huge cop out for a defending team. If they move towards adummy runner and let themselves get knocked over (Ablett is very well trained at this) you can guarantee it's gonna get pulled for obstruction. Even if, like today, the attacker goes through a completely different hole.
The rule is just a mess at the moment and it needs to be really looked at.

Couldn’t of turned out a worse performance against an average bump it up the middle team. This team really lacks composure without Maguire an Lunt.

LOL, the average bump it up the middle team, with just 12 players seemed to find plenty of space in the corners on three occasions and when they couldn’t find it Carlos ripped you out a new one and sent the full back in.

The obstruction rule is complete rubbish given that RL is supposed to be a collision sport. The only saving grace is that it’s consistently applied (but only when the sky cameras are there).

With regards the first try of the game, at half time it was shown that the rovers players elbow clearly makes contact with the ball and hence it as play on.

Rovers biggest issue today was their last tackle play. The kicking was woeful. You had the possession and territory but were not good enough to use it.

Hull took their chances. With 13 men on the field, Hull win by 24+

Average poop, like the majority of SL, enjoy your cup final win, your lot certainly don’t sing and cheer like they did today if they beat any other team. But don’t forget to tell me it’s our cup final in the way out.

Hull may well be in decline, one of the reasons is Hull normally sign up any decent Rovers players, but this season....
