It makes you wonder what chester could have achieved at rovers if he didn't have hudge and peacock interfering.

Not last night all these positions were dominated by Wakey missed goal kicks also kept the score a but lower. I thought it would have been a bit trickier last night with HKR back in SL and all the emotion getting the team up. Personally I thought we dominated all aspects if the game and except for some silly penalties and forcing the ball we looked comfortable. You blew a chance or two but so did Wakey. I thought the ref was OK but should have tidied up the ruck early doors. As for Sheens saying he thought Hull KR looked fitter than Wakey in the second half well thats his opinion I will leave it at that. I know he has to find positives to get ghe lads up for your next game. Not having a dig and I hope you get going its good to have you back in SL.

Yep that was a desperate comment, he mistook a rally in front of a passionate crowd as superior fitness or at least he chose to.

CC owes a lot to John Kear on that score, taught him all the tricks he was lacking at Rovers. Also MC and CB are not RL people and don't pretend to be, they run the the club CC runs the players as it should be.

I thought last night there was a spell in 2nd half that we looked fitter in that we got on front foot a bit but dropped ball and silly penalties took away any momentum.Clutching at straws really and dont think anyone could argue that Wakey didn't deserve the points?

Aye, Chester stuffed up at Rovers but he did the honourable thing and seems to have learned the lessons. Good luck to him.

So it's still Chester, not the players or the BOD. How covenient and such an easy scapegoat. You took on Webster! that's what stuffed you.

Just seen the tries on the sky sports website. Some abysmal goal line defence.

You look like a team which stuttered through a championship season without ever looking convincing and has had 3 or 4 average SL quality additions to it

I'd be amazed if you don't finish in the bottom 4 but I do think you'll win (at least) 1 of the derbies unfortunately

I don't think there goal line defence was that bad as most Trinity tries came out wide. It was Trins ability to bash up the middle then spraed it out wide that got HKR. TBF you just don't get that at Championship level.

It's how quickly they adapt that matters.

There's plenty of blame to go around for 2016, but Chester certainly deserves a share. Webster much less so, as he was given so little authority and so bears little responsibility. The decision to appoint an interim head coach and give him little power was unwise.

Maybe but surely anyone could see Webster was not head coach material after he basically destroyed Trinity in 2015 and he had all the authority and power he needed.

The problem with most SL clubs, Chairman and fans is they don't give coaches the chance to learn. There is no degree in coaching, your not born to it, its an aquired skill. Of course CC would make mistakes and go backwrds before going forward but considering he got you to Wembley (someting he's failed to do with us) he was worth sticking with.

perhaps sometimes we all need to big up and admit we got it wrong about someone. CC seems to have learned a lot, even in the last two years he seems noticeably more relaxed. To early to tell whether he's the absolute real deal but he's doing OK.
