so chester was the bad apple, yet you have mr hudgell saying just the opposite with his comments about people at your club, id think again if I was you, anyway you can park your coach for Wembley away lol
After today, I expect the coach driver has already put the SatNav coordinates in for Whitehaven, Workington, Swinton, Dewsbury, Oldham, Leigh et al
The trouble is that despite my smiley, I see only comic value in our shambolic team after that performance today. The result will have significant commercial and financial repercussions, but needs to trigger some major soul searching by our players, coaches and board.
I seem to remember that we started every game in the middle 8s last year against the Championship sides very slowly, playing at what we thought was their level, while they played initially at what they thought should have been our level. Eventually we woke up, but we had Puletua and Chisholm then. We do not seem to get up for these games at all. That does not bode well post regular season.
Full credit to Oldham today, they were more than good and skillful enough to capitalise on our sluggishness, ineptitude, mistakes and infringements and the conditions and our fragile confidence probably helped them as well. They had a goal kicker too, which always helps. They fully deserved their victory. I hope they repeat in a home draw next round.
