If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I'm pretty sure I wished Hodgson well, and I've been delighted in his performances in the NRL this year.

Stop. Just stop with the French John or I will be forced to hunt you down and gut you like a Withersea bass.

No one can argue that we'd have been a better team this year with Hodgson.

I think people get a little blinkered with there red and white glasses boudebza is ok he is a decent back up hooker still has a lot to learn and i respect that it is only his 1st full season as a professional but it never worked out ok replacing Josh hodgson with him because we wouldn't of had to sign Shaun lunt then would we?

. . .IMO Rovers let a little gem go in Connor Robinson, going great guns with 'Fax, just needed the opportunity.

Little John was a gamble, still is, lets hope he doesn't suffer from 2nd season syndrome.

Shaun Lunt can seem lazy at times but when he tunes he can be inspirational like we saw against Warrington in the semi.

I forgot that first time around.

John Boudebza was our saviour when Lunt was a crocked monsieur earlier in the season. He gives our team tempo and is a soul bruvva. A brave, skilful and tough little sod who will only get better and better imo.

Going forward, we need to pay him what he's worth and certainly more than Larroyer on the evidence of this season.

I wasn't saying we'd replaced josh with French John I was just remembering fans making out we'd let an international hooker leave and replaced him with a French part time player when I said it worked out in the end I meant signing Lunt and French John exceeding expectations

James Greenwood is another who has exceeded expectations. Got better and better for us with every game whilst simultaneously increasing his effective contribution levels to the team.

If this signing comes off, which I hope it does, provided he stays healthy he could be a major force in our team and SL at this time next year after a full preseason and more game time.

I also think a bit of advice from JP will benefit him.

He was a bit of a penalty machine early on but I would be happy with this signing
