Didn't quite get the 20 or so black and whites that turned up, and the irony of the Briscoe 5 shirt wasn't lost on me.
Having said that it was quite a cathartic experience and am pleased I went.

There is a picture doing the rounds of some FC fans there with balloons in the shape of a five and zero.

The tragic thing is that when Pearson took over at Hull we had their fans come over to the Leeds board telling us how he was going to put Hetherington in his place and how a guy with football experience would make the RL only Hetherington look amateur. He was also going to take him to the cleaners over the Luke Briscoe issue as well as have Hull charge up the table and be challenging for titles.

Skip forward to this weekend and the best thing they've had to celebrate in his tenure is the very same Leeds team who they were going to put in their place doing a number on their neighbours.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

F.cuk off to the Leeds board and look for them. You're usually a dab hand at dredging up old posts.

Speaking of old quotes , a 10 year old , yes , 10 year old quote being recycled by the queen obsessive.

Big club mentality.

So you weren't joking  Right where do I start. You say we were fortunate against Wigan. Fortunate is not a word I'd use for the commitment shown in a game that nobody gave us an earthly of winning without one of our first choice half backs (Kelly). You also say we didn't have to beat anyone else of note to get to the final, Catalans and Warrington 2 teams who, if I'm not mistaken, sit above the "mighty" Hull FC in the current super league table and both of whom have beaten the said "mighty" Hull FC this season. Again, both of these victories without one of our half backs (our captain and main play maker Terry Campese). To your point of one quality player I'm not quite sure who you are talking about. Kelly? Campese? Sio? Maybe Super Leagues top point scorer until the split Mantellato? I'd say we have a couple of below average players at most, I'll keep my opinions of who they are to myself as it's all about opinions. That alright for you?

Wow, biting to a comment posted on another board?

Mrs B really does know how to get some of you lot wound up. Has Adolf Anakin still got her banned btw? It was a much more vibrant board when she was about.

Not biting at all , I actually find it quite amusing, but I'm sick like that.
I'll say this , hull Kingston rovers stopped looking embarrassing pretty much straight after Saturday's final hooter.

You lot crack on.
