Graeme Horne signed a 1 year deal. Decent pro. Please don't put him in the Centre spot tho.

If these signings are true I'm somewhat aghast that we re sign a complete set of forwards who were bullied off the park last season to set them loose in a division were its commonly recognised that intimidation is a widely used tactic.

Again too many light weight back rowers. It's ok being lightweight but you need to have some balls (see Bateman). We have Clark and Scruton to help them but desperately need more. Tilse I'd keep. He's average but any props would struggle with that back row for support. He kept going last year whilst many of our back row abandoned their post.

It's ok saying we've been relegated, who can we get etc etc. The measuring stick is Leigh and who was in their forward pack? That one that took apart ours on our ground. Paterson is better than any back row we have, including Greenwood.

Why haven't we tried to get the best players in the championship, probably improving our team whilst weakening our opponents. Instead we've stayed loyal to an unbalanced weak set of players.

Horne and Cockayne are holding back opportunities for young players.

You maybe can't get the best championship players because they're contracted or pushing for SL contracts. Maybe JP only has mates at SL clubs.

Whether you agree or not, I think we are short of old head or two. He's only championship quality now, but I'm sure an injury free season for him can benefit us.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I agree Mulhern is hard to get excited about but what do you see in Cox....

There's multiple replies to that I see now I've typed it.

On the rugby front Mulhern can tackle and play for more than 10 minutes. He appears to have an IQ greater than 6. All help make him better than Cox.

Have I been saying I like Cox again?

I do that on occasion, I think they're both fairly poor, but, prior to his spleen incident and at Wire earlier this year Cox was doing quite well.

Hold on, Ghost Town just came on 't telly...

Too much fighting on the dance floor.

Rankin's Roger, lovely stuff.

Anyway, I digress, Mulhern, he's just rubbish, he can tackle, but he makes some horrible mistakes in defence, is easily stepped and gives away gormclops penalties. Going forward, I lost count of the times I thought, "shizzle, who dropped that? Mulhern".

Cox is as thick as a three hundred strong herd of pig's excrement though, I'll give you that.

Fun Boy Three now, marvellous.

A Gareth Hock, Ben Westwood type of player is what we need. may not cut it the Super League the year after, but would get us out of the championship at the first time of asking.

Has Dwayne Weston died? Is that why he's gone mouldy?

going by the Featherstone away game in the middle 8s we will struggle with this squad to get into top 2 let alone qualify where can you get 3or4 quality players at that time of year when other teams are also after players aswell seems to have rewarded certain players for loyal mediocrity has sheens seen some of them in action

With all due respect, I'd take Tim Sheens opinion on players over yours any day. Come to think of it, I'd probably take Tim Vine's too.
