Huge congratulations to Oldham, a traditional club that's had a horrible time since the inaugural SL season and rightly won today.

A root and branch review is required at Rovers because this result should not ever happen.

Can't blame anyone from taking a pop at the club because we deserve it, I'm struggling to think of a worse defeat in the roughly thirty four years of attending.

Seriously vexed with the club today, I've just had to burn my garage down because it had Rovers memorabilia on the walls.

I'll still go, because I'm an idiot, or at least that's what the players must think and they know I have a serious case of MGS.

Like you Sandra I've been going roughly the same amount of time so saw great times as a young kid and bad times also but I can't think of a worse result in all that time

I knew we were struggling at times but I'm shocked by that.

Then again if you employ a coach whose team were bottom of the league, knocked out the cup by lower league opposition and was sacked by a chairman who didn't trust him for the middle eights what do you expect.

Shocking shocking appointment compounded by Poaching etc all keeping their jobs. The nepotism needs to stop.

Chester needed to go but they've compounded the error with Webster coming in. The complacency today was down to the preparations. Lunt won us the game at Leeds virtually off his own back. We've shown some technical improvement under Webster but all the mental strength of a jelly.

The players at Rovers and Wakefield don't appear to respect or fear him which is a non starter for head coaching.

Club need to invest soon in coaching staff like Wakefield did or lose a whole lot more.

Maybe Peacock should s#it or get off the pot. Either be a coach or don't interfere. Football manager....do any other rugby league club have such a post?

I have been supporting Rovers since 76 and have also seen the good times and the bad. That has got to be up there with some of the worst performances ever. I remember losing to Hunslet in the cup when we had good team in the 80's which was nearly as bad. Remember it was freezing and the pint in my hand nearly stuck to it, it was that cold.

Credit to Oldham today made us look like amateurs. Their fans had a great day out, best song of the day ‘Super League your having a laugh’. We certainly are this year.

We deserve all we get on here today after that. To use some of Grimsby Red's optimism , we obviously wanted to concentrate on the league

Chester was the bad apple that is well known so you should either put up or shut up because your getting boring and saying we're getting new half backs is something that's not rocket science as kelly wanted to go back to Aus and Campese's injury problems but there will be changes I just hope it's in time

I'm not trolling here, but I was a bit surprised by Neil Hudgell's comment on Twitter: "Apologies are not enough, actions have to trump words. Too many cheap words by too many people who haven’t bought into what we are trying to deliver. We have dishonest people in the club, and they will be smoked out.” This sounds a bit paranoid and smacks of the enemy within. Is he right, and if so, has it taken this result to make the scales fall from his eyes?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Aye, hull5245 is a good contributor to the forum but you can't just keep saying "I know something you don't know" without having the balls to put up or shut up.

Believe it or not I feel for the fans ,well the genuine ones. Yes King Hudgell saved your Club but he is leading you down to the championship,if your lucky the truth might come out whats going on at your Club, its not only the fact his recruitment giving you the weakest squad in SL but also allowing bad feeling fester amongst players .he put the blame on Chester when he reality he along with Smith decided who comes and goes.Spin and more spin lead you all to believe how great recruitment was but everyone outside Rovers saw what was coming. Now you see your chairman having public spats with others who predicted the demise. Hudgell is now in panic mode trying to fix problems he created and others rightly or wrongly will be made scapegoats. Hudgell is living off his saviour tag and what your Club needs is a new leader or it will get worse, this is from someone who has been given spin and false dawns down the years the difference this time is although Pearson has made some mistakes with poor advice he is genuine admits his mistakes and is above all honest..can that be said of Hudgell
