For the record, I'm posting this from the comfort of my own home. Not worried about a bit of rain, but I'm not prepared to "celebrate" epic failure. I believe that to do so is to encourage more failure. Just seen the shots on Look North. Well done to the 4/500 who are clearly are better fans than me & Mrs Stan.

Waste of council funds if you ask me.

Those councillors with their snouts in the trough of free (to them) alcohol and food will probably disagree with you though.

Very much doubt that. I'd never seen my club in a major final till today and our run to the final has been amazing, the semi final win will live with me forever and albeit the result this week has been great.
Finals doubt come round very often so whatever scraps were given I'll gladly take.
10 years ago I wouldn't have believed that I'd be watching my team play in a Challenge Cup final. The progress has been massive and we'll only get better.
Take as much mickey as you like you won't make me feel any worse about the defeat but you won't stop me feeling as proud as I do about my club either.

Didn't quite get the 20 or so black and whites that turned up, and the irony of the Briscoe 5 shirt wasn't lost on me.
Having said that it was quite a cathartic experience and am pleased I went.

Welcome on to this forum my friend. Feel free to post again.

For the record, there is a whole army of Robins fans on here who agree with you about JTP not having a clue. He's a wind-up nobber from the dark side and he knows it. However, on occasions he detosserises himself sufficiently to make an insightful post, which still gets his arch nemesis Roversmad to bait back on here. The ensuing interchanges between them lurch from infantile derision to sheer contempt.

The post from JTP on here that prompted you to post is classic shizzle. File it and it's creator under PRAT and move on.

I don't have an arch nemesis on here. The poster you refer to is irrelevant to me and I never respond to anything he/she posts. There is no interchange

The tragic thing is that when Pearson took over at Hull we had their fans come over to the Leeds board telling us how he was going to put Hetherington in his place and how a guy with football experience would make the RL only Hetherington look amateur. He was also going to take him to the cleaners over the Luke Briscoe issue as well as have Hull charge up the table and be challenging for titles.

Skip forward to this weekend and the best thing they've had to celebrate in his tenure is the very same Leeds team who they were going to put in their place doing a number on their neighbours.
