I would say Paul Rowley is favourite he will be relatively cheep he's had some success he's English (don't think hull or rovers want to have there fingers burned again by appointing some untried Aussy) you can not hope to attract a top Aussy coach there on buckets of money and most important Rowley is available cheep no compo to pay to get him out iof a contract, that must suite rovers pocket
Macca will be on a good wage in Aus and working towards a top role in future can not see him chucking that away for a chance to coach ur squad , its got to be Rowley as I think they would of left Chester in charge longer, someone must be close to agreeing to step in soon
Some people keep mentioning Rowley especially Hull fans it seems but I don't believe he will be the one that Rovers will be looking at.
I know that one or two directors were not particularly happy when Chester was first appointed and preferred looking further afield, unfortunately they were out voted at the time.
I don't think Rovers will make the same mistake by going for another coach based on the fact that he is the cheap option, in fact I would say they cant afford to make the same mistake again.
I would be surprised if the club had not already sounded out one or two options but I doubt that they will make any rush decisions, they may decide to Keep Poching on as caretaker coach until a permanent solution is found but personally I think he is part of the problem.
