Thought the biggest bit of dissent he showed was when he turned his back when Bentham was still talking with his arms out wide. Just for the record I think sinfield was totally justified in all his comments as to coin a phrase from another poster 'they were getting raped by Bentham'.........

Sinfield as the captain is allowed to talk to the ref regarding his decisions, providing its respectful. He was a bit frustrated and probably shouldn't have said it in hindsight, however no way does it deserve a sin binning.

Thought the performance from the officials wasn't particularly strong on Friday night personally, Hull KR should have got BOD for their no try IMO. Leeds were definitely hard done too regarding the penalty count given Hull KR were committing the same offences and getting away with it.

That said, I thought it was a pretty good game with good skill shown from both sides at times. Thought Briscoe was MOM, while Senior and Dobson were both contenders.

Sinfield was right.

As a referee you have a choice to make, take the defence back a good 10 and don't penalise the offsides or keep a skinny ten and be strict wth the offsides. He obviously decided he would penalise the offisdes and did Leeds on around 6 occasions. He did not do Rovers once for it. So what the ref was saying is that Rovers were not offside all night, which is impossible and wrong.

Sinfield was not complaing about being penalised, just that the penaalties were only going one way.

What's all this balony about 'setting a bad example for our kids'? If you are relying on sports stars to set examples for your kids instead of doing it yourself I think I've identified the problem with your fair city!
