IMOH Brisc played OK but he made three bad errors, one from a high ball, dropping a pass from Ben Fisher that should have resulted in a try and also knocking on near our line. But typical Briscoe pulls off a couple of try savers...100% effort tho'



My MOM was Walker who has continued to impress me this season.. absolutley rock solid in defence and with some good offloads



Plenty to build on with a defence like that. A big improvement looks possible

I forget to mention another well done to Welham, I know a try was scored in his corner but the kid is showing a huge amount of maturity. He never had many attacking chances yesterday but once again looked solid in defence.



Same with Chev yesterday, no crazy sprints out of the defensive line and getting caught out of position, kept his head well and had a very good game!

Wheeldon will have to grab his chance and slot in! If he plays solidly - our pack can be switched often without fear of disrupting the squad.

Was good to see players we missed last season back on the field & getting stuck in. thought Scott Murrell was motm, followed by Fox who for me to his limited chances very well and then Walker whos defence has improved massively compared to last season.

mom for me was clint newton, he was outstanding throughout despite bombing that try off his break, but would agree that galea, walker, murrell, foxy and dobbo were all outstanding too.

TBF i thought he was pretty poor.

I thought he was solid defensively along with the rest of the team.

Our forwards had a real hard time against one of the best packs in the division. I was worried about our go-forward at times and the speed of the play of the ball but we were dominated in the forwards and found it hard going. It never helps when you have on of SL's best forwards missing for a fair period.
