watching the game from the east stand hull were offside all night watching it back today on sky so were rovers the fact is as fans you see what you want to see on another night some of the decisions could have gone the other way and we would won a lot easier which I think we deserved to but we won and that all that matters in the end

I like the 40-20 rule but totally agree on the vr, they just look for reasons to disallow rather than taking a pragmatic apprach. Some of the obstruction ones are farcical.

Same here for 40/20 rule. Awards fantastic skill usually when team under pressure. The kicker is often taking a gamble too.



Video ref is a joke. Should never have started it. Kills the momentum of games. Kills atmospheres at grounds. How they can make decisions off 2d images I don't know. It's not worth the effort for what it brings.

Doesn't help when people like Hollywood are doing it or when they allow drinks in the VR refs room (see Ganson).





Why people in football want it is beyond me.

Rovers were on their game, Hull weren't, it would have been tough on them to put all that effort in and lose when Hull drifted in and out of the game so the result was about right. From an Fc point of view, we have a lot of work to do as a team to get where we know we can be and i don't think much will happen for us until the 2nd half of the season.

What makes you think you will get better in the 2nd half of the season? For a start, you wont have any home games left. Do you pin your hopes on your fabulous away form?

The Camera is far from conclusive whilst Ade is on the pitch only a few metres from the action. He'd have heard the contact with the ball and probably seen it with his own eyes.

You're right Jake Hull were abysmal. Especially given all the help they got from the VR you'd have expected a 30 point win with all that assistance.

What help did Hull get from the VR? He gave a non existent"touch" from whiting when burns missed a DG and chalked off a perfectly good try from shaul which would have seen us go on to a comfortable win.

Fantastic victory last night and a terrific atmosphere, Rovers certainly appeared more up for it and had it not been for at least one dubious VR decision the margin would have been greater, speaking of atmosphere, my wife asked me.... what was that song they kept chanting throughout the game and continued well after?, something along the lines of.... ally ally ally-yo, something something, could not quite make out the words to be honest, but it certainly added to the overall atmosphere.

Lets hope the lads can get themselves up for the game against Catalan and there are no additions to the injury list.

Also, Keating and Langley will hopefully be available for this game .

Whiting knocked on when costigan "scored" and shauls was a ball steal off lovegrove,should have been a penalty.I didnt think whiting touched the ball in the attempted charge of the drop goal,still justice was done.
