I doubt Blair will play but obviously given as late as possible to prove his fitness better squad than I expected

Strong looking 19 from Widnes .Hanbury and Marsh back but no Inu which may add bit of weight to the rumour we had signed him with Hauraki? Blair hopefully being back for us shows just how much he is prepared to give for the club yet again? We've had some great imports and some chaff but sometimes you get a Stanley Gene, Clint Newton or Maurice Blair who give everything. So many reasons to win on Sunday but now with the captain laid low with major illness the only thing the players and fans can do is get the job done for him!

Everybody lump on us beating Widnes by exactly 12 points would be my advice.

After tonight’s result we need to win by 14 or more, squeaky bum time I think.

If we can't stuff Widnes by more than 14 we deserve to be in the MPG anyway, and it'll be away at London after London rip Halifax apart.

You can't trust Leeds to do anything right, but the ref decisions by Hicks were biased all game. Took the video ref to overturn two of his crap decisions.

Whats the betting if we're 14 points up with a minute to go, the ref manufactures a penalty underneath the sticks for them?

We have a second chance ala 2016 (which didn't end well) but it should mean that we shouldn't panic and go out to rip Widnes a new one. At which point, I refer back to my opening sentence.

They’d run it, surely. And score most likely, admittedly.

Though, tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them knock over a drop goal to make it 24-11 with the last kick of the game. Who was it scored an accidental drop goal against in the championship last year. Dewsbury, maybe? Another one like that, perhaps.

I don’t blame Leeds for going at it 85%. Their season was done, and they just had to avoid a pasting. And, as their fans seem happy to acknowledge they’re cack. And not just ‘by their own high standards’, either. Proper cack.

That Gareth O'Brien drop goal for TWP last night was a thing of beauty and brought back wonderful memories.
Don't think you'll have to fear a repetition of a similar scenario on Sunday though as Widnes are more than likely gonna throw the game.

Just hope that none try that TWP were allowed doesn,t cost us our SL place. Don,t think there is a "fix on" to get them up, but at times I can understand why people would think that. When I,m angry even I sometimes think the same. Just think the RFL are useless and deluded. Some officials are poor and ignore(for whatever reason) blatant offences.
It,s simple then, win by 14 points or the MPG. Just wish Quinlan was available but he,s not.
The team is capable but Widnes will not roll over.
Blitzkrieg or bust.
COYR.
