If we'd signed Abdul from Wigan or elsewhere nobody would say anything we're a championship side now so Abdul is a decent signing if we get the player who played against us and not the one I saw playing for Fev

Define 'lots'?!

I've mentioned 5 young first team lads who will get good game time this next year from our academy. But looking at our relegation, It seems to me there's a better career path for young lads at rovers than FC.

Completely missed the point didn't you? It wasn't a go at Hull KR's youngsters, was it? It was an example of how Des might have responded to Billy to answer his question & offer a reason why Rovers might want to sign Abdull, rather than responding in the way he did.
