I was in an Estate Agent up here in Pickering when this guy came in enquiring about this building plot for sale in the North York Moors National Park. Turns out it was Biff Byford, the lead singer of Saxon, according to the lady in the office who was a huge fan.

Not a lover of big arena gigs, generally overblown affairs.
Best gigs Dandy Warhols at Manchester uni, THe charlatans back in 95 at Hull uni and then the emotional comeback after Rob Collins died when they supported oasis at Knebworth 96. Worst gig was the manics on the same bill, truly awful.
I love the stone roses but they are awful live. Biggest regret not going to see the smiths in 85 / 86 and going round town instead, what a tool I was.
