Pearson has put us in a far better position than Hudgell has Rovers..second from bottom ,losing to a part time team ,in fighting among players, attendances down, fans threatening a boycott ,little wonder your club is were its at when you still back a chairman who clearly has been the main factor in your clubs fortunes with poor recruitment and soon to have your fourth coach in less then twelve months ..at your forum ask him why he puts gagging orders on everyone he gets shut of .Like to bet he wont get any questions what have not been screened first

While there's some merit in cross-sectional analyses, longtidudinal studies are generally better regarded.

It's not so long ago that Pearson was held in much lower esteem than right now, his rhetoric during his initial beatific period having been shown to be rather hollow. Across nearly five years, he's brought you on a little way at significant expense, and while your team looks excellent this season, there's no guarantee that the success is locked-in, even in just the medium term. Look at Leeds and Hudds, for goodness sake. Would you say Pearson has done a better job than Gary Hetherington or Ken Davy?

Hudgell picked up rovers in the second tier, and has been the driving force behind our ten-year stay in the top flight. Even if it all comes tumbling down now, at least a new generation got to see the club revived and living the dream for a good long while. I don't think we do, and certainly we shouldn't feel any sense of entitlement to greater success than Hudgell has delivered over more than decade, much as this season has been very disappointing even relative to our modest hopes.

Pearson would sell if he could but no one would buy them. They have an awful relationship with the owners of their ground and have little value for any long term plan.
Motu Tony has bailed them out in the short term.
I can see Hudgell's long term plan though am really concerned that we will get relegated under this coach. That would be catastrophic.

Why does everything have to end up as a Rovers v Hull comparison? It really isn't helpful in 2016.

Because for the last 6 or 7 years fc fans have had nothing good to say about their club at all but now this season they are going well so all forgotten and they can come on here and let us know how great they are, and how $hit we are

In 2016 terms they would be absolutely correct though would they not?

2pm on Good Friday seems a long time ago.

Your right.

It is an easy way to make a point though.

In perspective to Rovers current state our chairman has moved the club Herculean distances since he took over given his finances. Look at the stadium.
Our current mess on the field is down to a terrible appointment, particularly Webster. The previous 2 had positives but this one was the wrong appointment at the worst time. If someone with a half decent cv had taken over we would be not worrying about relegation and the masked avenger could start building next season.

As it is we spend six months Shi#ing ourselves staring into the abyss.

Skeltons raisin pies?

It's a curd pie with raisins, they were undoubtedly the most delicious snack but please give them the correct name.

You've busted AP on his master plan. What is hudges plan? Ruin your club? Because since day 1 he said we will have a team with local talent. He's out of his depth even sponsors say this.
