The referee's indecision is final

i heard the show and he definately made the remark about rugby fans not being able to write. however to be fair it was said light heartedly as a way of getting a cheap laugh and i wasnt offended. in fact theres a lot worse said about city fans on these forums.

I am not happy with the way this d!khead has deprived us of an international in Hull this year. He bleats about the not been able to leagally allocate a specific date in October/November to play a Rugby League International and blames it on the RFL for not waiting till June.
How come then ;
1. Old Trafford is booked for 10th October for the RFL Grand Final
2. Wigan have agreed a weekend in November Sat/Sun TBC
3. Doncaster have firmed a date for one international.
4. The Galpharm has firmed up a date for one international.
5. Elland Road has been booked for the the Autumn International Final.

He does not want the comunity stadium to be used for the comunity, only for the out of towners that come to watch Hull City.

I listened with interest to the Hull City Fans Forum on Humberside tonight as Duffen and Brown were the guests on the panel. During the show David Burns, in his normal brown nosing way to Mr. Chairman (Duffen) commented I bet you have received a lot of mail and texts form the RFL Fans regarding the lack of an international at the KC. His reply was no I did not think they could write, Burns quickly moved him on quite embarrased by the comment.

That man is a tool and I would hope we and the tennants at the KC can get a good chant of Duffen Out at the good friday Derby just to show the football git what the RFL fans in Hull think of him. Then we can get back to hurling abuse at each other.

Is that why both Hull R.L. forums are chock full of comments. :?:
I am sure Duffen was being facetious in his attempt at a factitous fiction,in his attempt at compartmentalising said R.L. fans. :)

DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

So if its a Premier League problem, how do the RFL manage to book Old Trafford each year for the Grand Final?

It's a regular booking, same as Hull Fair. The FA will know they have to work around this at Old Trafford every year, do you see the pattern forming here?

I think it's interesting that none of the Hull SL fans have made a comment on the fact that had Kath and Richo not been so keen to get their noses out of the trough they would have had as much say as Duffen. :D Mind you.I would imagine if they had have been he would not have taken City over as the long time plan is to buy the stadium and the land around it.

It's interesting that ALL rugby fans on here, both Rovers & FC, discuss the matter in hand for what it is but Vince turns it into his own personal attack on Richo and Kath

We are not bothered that our board don't have a say in the running of the Council Owned Stadium that is run Independently by the SMC (supposedly)

I think we need to hear what Nigel Wood says about the matter to get a proper understanding of the situation.

Who was the last one ?

If they booked acts who were worth seeing people would come from anywhere, I saw Metallica last night and there were coaches from Scotland and Exeter next to ours, the same happened a few years back when I saw Springsteen in London, people came from all parts of the UK, can the same be said for Neil Diamond.

The point is, put the right act on and you wont lose money, its just bad management and bad act selection.
