If it was macnamara then I don't see why it hasn't been announced yet. Hardly going to make any difference to the roosters. Now if it were mcdermott then I can see why no announcement has been made

He was on a loser at Bradford, the club was melting down beneath him. Thought he did a decent job with England.

I quiet like him & as you say he did a good job with England, but with most on the East side he will always be associated with FC. For me Siebold ticks all the boxes with me, ex Rovers State of origin & NRL assistant coach, coaching experience in the lower UK league, he would do the job.

Spoke to McNamara at the Allianz the other week, I asked him if was coming and he just smiled and said he wasn't allowed to say anything yet. Personally I'd love to have him at the club, he's a Hull lad with plenty of experience and has built up his NRL contacts. He's also learnt a lot from the brilliant Roosters youth set up.

Doesn't bother me one bit about his FC links, there are plenty around that have links to both sides. If he comes in and does well then that's all forgotten, if he's rubbish hes that B&W bstud.
