Winning the cup in the last 2 years was amazing but the cup runs likely cost us 2 grand final spots and maybe even a couple of wins

you've even got an excuse for chocking, how does a Wembley win stop you winning a grand final, confidence is high ,tails up and all that,given the injury free season you had and opposition at the time, and the team you had, big chance blown imo, your coach wasn't up to it, he went for bargover billy tactics, instead of rugby just like he played, may win you a knockout cup but not a grand final so blame your coach not a cup win

Wigan Saints and Leeds can all be having average seasons but when it comes to the crunch they know how to win Castleford were miles ahead of anyone in the regular season but come the grand final Leeds took them apart

It wasn't the 50 that hurt It was the nil.For me anyway.We got well beaten by a champion Leeds side but I enjoyed the day and seeing Rovers run out at Wembley after all the years in lower league was a big achievement. FC got nilled there 2 year previous but again seems conveniently forgotten? 45-0 and 71-0 spring to mind but in honesty means nothing apart from dick waving. Our teams have different goals this season but I suspect wil both win the same amount of Silverware.
