Couldn’t of turned out a worse performance against an average bump it up the middle team. This team really lacks composure without Maguire an Lunt.
Other than Houghton's,all our trys came through the edges. Stop trying to downplay Hull to make yourself feel better about losing against 12 men. Hull would do right to bump it up the middle against Rovers anyway since your pack is pretty terrible.

Ohhh the bitter fruits of those long-term plans, eh?
We are still a very good team, unfortunately that is still by Championship standards.

Shut up you.
Tbf, we’re no worse off league points wise than I expected this morning, but playing against 12 for so long gave us a shot, and the failure to take it probably reflects how far off the pace we are (not trying to take anything away from Hull). I’m not angry or even especially frustrated - I feel sorry for them as much as anything. Maybe they’d prefer anger to pity? I dunno.
Post-derby probably isn’t a good time for strategising. See how we get on versus Wigan, and then more crucially versus Widnes. After that, two fifths through the first 23 rounds, will be a decent time for the club to take stock. It’ll be tough to strengthen, offering the prospect of the middle 8s again, that’s for sure.

Personally I don't think you'll do half bad against Wigan. Wane seems to like to rest a few on Easter Monday, and after today I don't think Sheens will bother resting any. If you get Lunt and Mcguire on the pitch I'm gonna put a few pound on a Rovers win.

your breath smells again. your on the decline ,shafted without watts, a good job you played us today otherwise another away loss,12 men or not we carried marsh, your result, but really nothing to shout about from what I saw ,

Evens with the start we’ll get after today, might be a decent bet. I wouldn’t take us from scratch unless the odds were very good.
I’m going to try not to get carried away, same as following the defeat vs Catalans or the win at Hudds. After 8 games, the pre-season suspicion that we hadn’t been able to strengthen enough looks fairly well founded. It is what it is - we had to build a team to get us out of the Championship, and that was exactly the sensible thing to do, and we now have to face consequences like today.

You just simply can't judge Hull's performance today as poor. As I've said on the hull forum, with 12 men we were never going to score 8 trys, and we were never going to concede only 1/2. You're trying to make Hull out as an awful team, but man, we beat you with 12 men for 70 minutes. You claim we're shafted without Watts (despite winning both games since he's left the club) but you're shafted WITH Masoe. He's a terrible player. Minimal carries, minimal yards, tons of errors.
