In a literal sense you do. But nobody is infallible, and every signing is a risk.
The upside is his undoubted talent. The downside is that he is clearly a troubled soul, whose irresponsibility has seen him booted out of three clubs, despite that talent.
On the balance of probabilities, I can see him being a decent fit for Hull. He'll add another dimension. Bringing the total to two by my count.
But expectations have been raised by your success this year. You're no longer the surprise package, and you're unlikely to have as few injuries in 2016 as 2017. If things go a bit sour, he's not somebody you want to rely on. In fairness, you wouldn't be, at least not to the extent we were.
He gets (another) fresh start. Hull get an x-factor player. We're well shot of him. Maybe sometimes everybody wins.
