No. But the frustrating thing is that we're not replacing him with anyone that is a top 8 centre. A sign of the times at the club?

It's all about getting value for money with the salary cap, for example say Welham is on twice as much as Salter (I reckon he could be more on his old deal), is Welham twice as good as Salter?

I suppose both your new centres have potential to be better than Welham or at least that is what Chester believes, whilst it's very unlikely that Welham will improve enough to be a top centre.

All of the above is true, of course, and it seems that we're having to balance the salary cap within the squad. I just feel that, salary cap benefits aside, we'll be weaker in the centres in 2016 than we were in 2015. Unless there are more signings to come in the centres but that doesn't sound likely. To me, this doesn't bode well for the clubs public ambition of being comfortably in the top 8 next year.

Watch welhams performance at Wembley against a top class centre and you realise how far away from been one himself he is thanks for your efforts kris but no big loss time to move on

I agree! I said earlier that i don't think he's top 8 material. Couldn't see him signing for anyone who finished higher than us this year. I just think that with the signings announced so far for 2016, we'll be weaker in the centres than we were at the start of 2015. I guess I'll reserve final judgement until we announce that our 2016 recruitment is done.

I just can't see the club going into next season with either minns or salter as first choice centres so we must have someone else in mind

Before you pass judgement on Thomas Minns why not wait until you have seen him in action. A member of staff at the Rhinos (not JP ) who's opinion I respect said Minns is very unfortunate that Watkins & Moon are at the club otherwise he is certain Minns would be a regular in the side.

He was runner up for championship young player of the year as well so people constantly say we should be scouring the championship to bring forwards in so why should it be any different with backs?

Frankie. Up here in Pickering, sadly there are a few Rhinos fans near me but some of them are good friends. They all rate Minns very highly and reckon that he is much better than Keinhorst was at the same age. He's just got Moon and Watkins in his way, both young, both exceptional and both limiting his first team opportunities.

He will be our starting left centre imo next season filling the vacant Kris Welham position.
