Very much doubt that. I'd never seen my club in a major final till today and our run to the final has been amazing, the semi final win will live with me forever and albeit the result this week has been great.
Finals doubt come round very often so whatever scraps were given I'll gladly take.
10 years ago I wouldn't have believed that I'd be watching my team play in a Challenge Cup final. The progress has been massive and we'll only get better.
Take as much mickey as you like you won't make me feel any worse about the defeat but you won't stop me feeling as proud as I do about my club either.

Well said Sir. I used to go with a mate who follows Batley and saw them a few times at CP and from where you are now to those days is an immense improvement.
10 years ago we were losing a CC Final to Hull FC but the other week beat them with half a team without getting out of 2nd gear so I don't know what they're beating their chests about. You are right to feel proud as you earned the right to be there despite some jokers claiming you beat no one. Wigan,Wire and Catalans? I can understand the rivalry but when it makes people spout crap like that it's laughable. Great supporters as well!

It's just win-win all round, then. Leeds fans getting grumpy because we're giving KR a bit of stick over the result is the icing on the cake for me!

There's a big difference between the clubs. Yes; it's great for the fans that KR have improved. But despite getting a record drubbing, they're still upbeat. Still had a good day out. Still having a reception at the City Hall to mark the occasion. We, on the other hand, were grumpy, angry and generally peeved after the 2013 game to the point that it cost the coach his job. Rovers went for a good day out. We went to win, and when we lost it wasn't good enough.

Leeds have been a class above every other team this year. No-one would have beaten them. Other teams, however, would have given them a better game.

I can't really see the leeds fans been grumpy they've just won the challenge cup and will probably win the grand final I wouldn't have thought they would give a toss about the hull fans

Well there were two couples at breakfast in our hotel moaning this morning, you'd have thought they'd lost, having a dig at Thaler and how he let us away with too much. Also on the rail station there was a load of Rovers fans singing there hearts out after the game and some Leeds fans sat with faces loke wet farts

in 2013, we left Wembley on the hooter - didn't want to hang around - and when we got on the tube, there were two Wigan fans already on it. They can't possibly have waited for Wigan to lift the cup. That's the trouble with winning everything; you don't appreciate it as much.

Agree, I left on the hooter in 2013 and there was Wigan fans in front of us down Wembley way, I couldn't believe it.

After another loss and a terrible performance the atmosphere when I got on the coach was flat to say the least. I looked at the coach next to ours which was full of Wigan fans. I couldn't believe it there was no celebrating the fans were just sat there eating their packing up!! admittedly the pies looked delicious.

I agree when you win Cups year in year out it must take the excitement out of it. It's not going to happen in the near future but can you imagine how much it would mean to Hull or Rovers fans if either of us won a major trophy? one can but dream...

In a nutshell - although to be fair Neil said he was going there for the win and not just the day out. Should imagine he's over the moon.
