It was a solid Derby win after losing 2 key players to injury early on, it secured our place in the top 8, and it more-or-less ensured Rovers would be in the middle 8. So while I'd agree it wouldn't normally qualify as a 'major victory' I can see why emotions were on a similar level.
I agree I'd much rather see these sorts of celebrations limited to home games, and I already said there was too much risk for my liking.
