Never been my favourite player even a couple of years ago for us, always thought slightly ovberated. But Briscoe, there is a fine player. Absolute class in every department. Peter Sharps retention/recruitment personified.

He was spoilt at Hull FC being surrounded by quality players. He now looks as average as those around him. Probably end up at salford or wakey when his current contract isn't renewed

Thought it was a pretty indifferent performance. Definitely showed some of what he learnt at FC (as Kear was so keen to point out ) by putting Briscoe in under the posts.

Think he will improve as the season goes on and he adjusts to his partnership with Dobson. People shouldn't forget as well, he's getting older.
