A more supportive view from me, Rugby League can I’ll afford to lose an owner who has driven rovers through difficult times, using his own money, time, and desire to keep the club solvent. Our sport is on a financial knife edge, with clubs in danger of collapsing. This is a hammer blow for the club, make no mistake.
I don’t understand the timing of this announcement, in the midst of CV19, and pass sales for 20/21 and much needed revenue needed, especially after this year, you would have thought steadying the ship into next season would have been more advantageous, then again whenever it happens it’s not good.
We are nearly all, rugby league supporters, and regardless of which colours we follow, without each other, there’s no game to watch.

It might be that the COVID-19 situation could have created a need to make a change, despite being reason to consider delay. The problem is that there'll always be a reason to delay - he's been doing so since April 2013, in the hope something will come along. It hasn't in over 7 years, what's to say it would in the next 7?
Some sort of different approach is clearly going to be needed. I guess Rovers fans will all have their own hopes and fears about what it might be.
I wouldnt say it was a hammer blow in the sense of weve known for few year he was open for new investment and had given all he could. Massive shoes to fill and unlikely we will get a true fan at helm again but confident he will only sign over to someone who can steer us right? The Allam angle and possible developments personally id welcome but aware many view on them soured by soccer goings on.Heard a couple of wealthy families with Rovers links aee interested but this announcement by Hudge will smoke out the truth from the rumour? Concerned? Yes,but trust NH to find the best option
I go to llydes club at kingswood, a few years he was a regular there, TBH he was an ok bloke one who you could have a chin wag with, he knew i was black and white as many others there are, yet always polite and happy to chat about rugby, sad day for rugby,

I love the optimism but the facts are that hull can break even and have done so in recent seasons. Our shirt sales alone are massive in comparison to yours. Rovers can only survive with major investment every season to the tune of 500k. That’s gone. Totally gone. Unless you can find someone else willing to cough up money, you’re well and truly up shat crack!
shirt sales,, are you on something ,most clubs are in the mire yours included, pearson will lose a fortune this year and so will other funding chairmen, you seem to be making a competition out of this you sick count
He said to me .....'' Who the hell does all the marketing and general promotion of your sport''? He said whoever they are need to do much better. He said that had I not informed him of the RL world cup and the televised games that were to be shown, he wouldn't have known that there was a world cup actually taking place. That summed up the situation as far as I was concerned. Here we were playing a world cup and a perfect time to showcase what a great spectacle rugby league was, and yet millions probably weren't even aware of its existence. On that Score the game hasn't moved forward at all in my view. NOW!
I agree about 2013, but, be fair, the RLWC2021 team are WAY ahead of 2013 or 2017 in advance PR, marketing, fixtures, ticketing, social media etc etc. Scarely a day goes by without posts on one or all three of the trophies up for grabs on Twitter etc , and in business communications they put up posts/announcements on LinkedIn more than once a week. It will be many months before we know if their strategy is working, but they are giving it a good shot this time.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
First of all I'd just like to say thanks to Neil, after about nineteen ninety three / four, I'd really lost interest and he's the person that made me rediscover my passion for Rovers. The last sixteen years, even accounting for the downs have been a lot more fun that the preceding sixteen that's for sure!
I really can't see Neil just swanning off to Salthouse Tavern without having some sort of plan in place for the club to continue to attempt to grow, he's invested too much both personally and financially to just let all that go down the (Holderness) drain.
Some very nice and appreciated comments from the Hull fans.

That's fair comment and as you say...It will be several months before we know if the current PR marketing is working. One thing is for sure though . It can't be any worse than the previous attempts which were in my view abysmal.

please don't think Adler is indicative of FC fans, banter aside, Hudgell has given everything to KR over the years, certainly been a more reliable custodian than a certain other solicitor was. A big loss for you guys, and like you, I can see Pearson being next, you can't keep pumping money in when the sport sells it's soul for free pizza!
