I am not sure what Matty marsh has to do with anything. Moss is a winger or running fullback, but not big enough for a SL winger and not structured enough for a fullback ( in our set up) With a couple of young wingers who are bigger and stronger coming through and dagger the better ball player his options are very limited. in hindsight we should of released Moss start of the year and kept JBF - but alas.

and no, Matty marsh would not be in my 17 at all. If worse comes to worse at HB I would have quinlan at 6 and dagger at 1

Heard that where paying Carney off if it’s true I hope there bringing somebody good in because he is a big player for us makes good meters and would be a big part in keeping us up

I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I'm not sure the club could afford to pay anyone off. You're right that it would be big boots to fill though. He make a lot of ground out of backfield for you and with Vaivai leaving at the end of the season, it could leave you a bit lightweight in the backs again.
