The only aim this season is not to get relegated which I'm sure you won't, either through not losing the MPG or through them expanding SL. You have a poor squad scattered with a few half decent players but there is no real quality there to get you over the lines in tight games.
I'm sure crossland and hudgel are confident you won't go down hence they're not panicking and paying over the odds for the wrong type of player.
I don't think we're too far off another franchise type model for SL and I would think hudgel is confident you'll be in there so thinking longer term than your average fan is prepared to.
Back your team
Always do mate. No matter which division or how they play. I get frustrated with how they play, and with team selections. But will always back them.
Hudgell and Crossland will always get my support for where they taken the club onto from the shambles that was the mid 90's early 00's. I think the frustration is more to do with the lack of investment in the sports teams in Hull than anything they've done.
Agree that this season was all about staying up anyway we can. Then we can improve the side year on year by getting in better players. Personally would like us to be looking at the championship or fringe players of SL clubs like Caton Brown,Klienhorst Pattern. Young hungry players with something to prove.
Hopefully we won't go down the franchise route again, as I don't think it adds anything to the game or improves the standards. But fear you could be right.
