Maybe questions should be asked about the desire of your players at the end of the game, no push from the inside defenders to slide and stop the last try then no pressure on the kicker for the drop goal!

I could only manage a wan smile at the time, but thank you to the Salford fan who offered me his sympathies on my way out. I hope Salford give you an enjoyable season next year.

To the chaps I was stood with, I hope I do see you at Doncaster next year.

To the players, you gave your all, and I'm sorry it kicking-off at the end stopped me acknowledging that.

It's a total farce that you went down that way, it should be top of championship goes up, bottom of SL goes down, not the play off spin, there's already playoffs going on with the GF, tell you who's benefitting from this the RFL now there going to benefit more when they hit both you & Salford with a big fine. Total joke they've created this monster.

You have the core support, you have 850k from the RFL. Let's hope most of your sponsors stay loyal although I expect they will be paying less for the privilege. Your club must do its utmost to run a SL team in the championship. It looks like there will be 4 fulltime teams in the Championship next season. Bulls, London, Toulouse the others. I expect that to be very close fought for the top 4 positions and the M8s could be even more interesting next season.
