Why would he categorically deny it? Also, I notice you keep asking about Gentle/Hull KR - why on earth would Hudgell make such strong words against it if it was going to happen?

Why?

Because when Phelps came over to the UK, Wigan signed him rather than having to go a pretty average NL1 team? Phelps is proven in SL, lives in the area and appears to be a true pro as opposed to Taulapapa who, allegedly, has a questionable attitude. Also, a few Sheffield fans say he isn't the same since returning from his broken leg.

Don't get me wrong, in a way I'm glad you've made such average signings for next year - Although, I'd prefer to see young Hull lads getting a chance (at both clubs).

If he wasn't quota, he'd have been okay. Lots of B&Ws wanting to see him come to us makes me a tad suspicious though!

No need on my behalf mate.I may be in a minority, but I quite like Phelps.

Compared to yours they are. The quality of quota signings are obviously coming down but looking at who we've signed. Heremeia is one of the form hookers in the league form what I've seen, McKinnon was the West Tigers fans player of the season runner up - to Benji Marshall last year and Seymour, at 26, with over 120 NRL appearances is a good signing IMO - Dobson/Green/Chase were unknowns in the NRL and have come to SL and performed really well.
