| Kirk played half of his games at 2nd row in the reserves, still think he's a better hooker but saying that he had his best game for the club in the 2nd row in the CC against Hudds last year imo.
Pleased to see him doing well at Cas.

Hasn't done too shabby so far Very impressed, got the penalty on Friday night that won us the game.

| Quote Gordon Gekko="Gordon Gekko"Players can play out of position from time to time and i have no problem with that, but to say Kirk is a better back rower than hooker shows how stupid you really are and thats the end of it.'"
Considering all the FACTS you cant exactly call someone stupid for having an opinion!
In my opinion your a total pillock but I dont actually know much about you do I so I may be wrong and your actually much worse than you come accross on here!!!
The reason I feel he could be a better back rower is that his distribution from the ground isn't as snappy as other Super League class hookers yet his line running and upper body strength make him ideal to play at loose man or an attacking second rower.
I might not be a top coach but I do actually have a coaching badge in Rugby League so I cant be that stupid! Now trott on.

Having a badge means you aren't stupid then does it
Level 1 takes about an hour and a half , reckon you could buy the badge on e bay for a couple of quid anyway. I have held a coaching badge for roughly 15 years so I guess that makes my dad bigger than your dad

Thank god you didn't coach the likes of Greg Inglis, Isreal Falou or Jamie Lyon, you'd have had them playing prop

Wait, so you'd still have Pryce playing on the wing? Lockyer at fullback?
Even Mick Vella started off on the wing, players change positions successfully all the time, look how well Cockayne did at hooker last season and Murrell changing from #6 to #13. It's up to the coach to spot the potential.
Netherton is just as suited at 2nd row as he is at hooker imo. Good player to have on the bench, should have kept him.

| Hes no where near big enough or strong enough for a SL 2nd rower. Its like Hull trying to turn Hodgeson in to one, it wont work.

| Quote nick hkr="nick hkr"So your calling Justin Morgan a fool??? He played Kirk in the back row on more than one successful occasion, he's got the build to play anywhere, rugby league now is about athleticism not every hooker has to look like Terry Newton or Kieron Cunningham!
Ben Cockayne played prop the other week against Leeds, he doesnt have the build but he has the ability to drive the ball in at speed and make the opposition work to tackle him.
James Roby is regularly played at loose man, a player who's build you obviously think is for only that of a hooker?!
Grow up and stop making yourself look stupid, Kirk has played in numerous positions and plays very well in the second row and lock positions somewhere I think he would benefit playing more in due to his good attacking angled runs and his work rate in defence.'"
