19-0 GAME OVER

Gardner had a very good game last night, he made loads of yardage in midfield and was solid in his all round game.

Peter Fox merely showed that he was quicker than Gardner on a long kick chase run, which is something everyone knew anyway.

Fox is a decent player and deserves another shot at international level. For me he is stronger than calamity Calderwood or Crab Raynor.
Remember that he plays on the opposite wing to Gardner.

and tom briscoe is stronger then fox

calderwood needs more ball for us to show how good he is

lee smith has been great at fullback leeds he will walk it in the england fullback
Calderwood is cack and has been for ages I serously suggest you pull your head out of you booty if you dont belive so.
Yes Lee Smith is a great FB in fact he such a good FB that when Leeds first choice FB is available he doesnt get a look in and he is also so great that when the england FB was looking decidedly dodgy they gave Lee smith a proper go....................Oh wait no they didnt because he was wing cover!

Both Calderwood and Smith went to the WC on the back of 1 game.,

On his own merits Gardner is nowhere near international level and should never play for England again (on either wing).

Gardner is no world beater, I dont think any Saints fan would say he was.
However name me two better wingers that are British.

I think that is the crux of the matter , he has been elevated to international rugby due to him playing in a very good side , who can score lots of tries.

There are better wingers out there.

Raynor by a million miles (even though it pains me to say it as a KR fan).

And I'd even have the likes of Calderdud in ahead of Gardner - the guy is absolutely shocking :!:

fox has a chance if calderwood, raynor or Gardener are either playing crap or have injurys

Calderwood is never international class, Raynor is. Gardner would not get 5 tries a season if he played for a non - top 4 club.

Totally agree but he still has more to offer than Gardner the slug.
