Well they weren't.



Rovers had better chances despite being tonked in the penalty count, field position and possession and you can add to that the loss of Vella after 15 mins. They also had a perfectly good try chalked off. Last season under those circumstances they would have been soundly beaten.



Defensively they were superb and were always a threat with ball in hand. They only real negative was they coughed up the ball too many times and put themselves under pressure.

He deemed Nick Fozzard to have knocked on right near their line when he didn't and don't get me started on the Galea decision.

I'd also like to see Fox get more of the ball, also would've liked to have seen a kick from the scrum near the end, rekon he could've got to it and scored.

Would like to see the drop goal again, Thaler certainly took his time signalling it has gone over, it was a very good kick considering the pressure from the Bradford players aswell as Dobbo being slightly off balanced, took a fraction longer than he obviously wanted to but still got the kick in.

I actually thought it had gone under the crossbar.

Thaler did take an age to signal it but thanks heavens he did.
