not bad going seeing as we had a fine to pay.

Please don't mention the fine again Holty , this thread could run into the thousands now you have .

Good job the RFL have now tightened up on the rules one good thing to come out of the fiasco.

Don't worry too much about our financial position Hudgell is a fan and wouldn't let the club go down the pan. The most important thing we managed to achieve without any Financial aid from SL was to gain promotion and stay there . You should be commenting on your financial position making the challenge cup final selling all that merchandise but only making a small profit not good.

The merger money was £1m. That article was written as that story broke and well before any payments were received. Out of that £1m, the debts of the old Gateshead had to be settled and then some employment contracts paid up.

Fair enough. Its your opinion they the site of teh Boulevard was not worth £700k, but it was of some independant valuers  . If you really wanted to you could say that all council expenditure is ratepayers money.

That Hudgel is a fan is irrelevant. If anything that would lead to making irrational and emotive decisions.

On the basis of Hulls accounts in the years they have made major finals, they have made clear profits of over £200k. If you consider St Helens have made all of the major finals in the last 3 seasons yet they post losses, go figure that one out.

Just for reference, Hull FC made it to SL in 1997 without any assistance. I don't see your point there.

And final, about that fourth final you mentioned earlier??????

Gateshead were run by the same directors who came Sarf , Gateshead were 700K in the red stuff ! Not a good story to tell after a short period in existence.

That's correct I do not believe that tip was worth 700k of anybody's money

That Hudgel is a fan is irrelevant. If anything that would lead to making irrational and emotive decisions.

You can also say the opposite Hudgell has stated on Radio as such. Not like Kath her silence is golden

One of the reasons Saints make losses is that they are in a delapidated ground that costs monies to maintain and does not have the corporate facilities like the KC does. Soon as they move their income will increase.

The point is without the RFL assistance it has cost Rovers money to get where they are now.

 Gave you b/w too much credit there. Still won Nowt in SL though.

Only 4 clubs have in SL and if you take out the one title won by Wigan, the other 12 titles have been shared by just 3 clubs.

London and Warrington have been in SL since its inception but neither has really threated getting anywhere near the GF.
