Cox was quoted as saying he was going to do a Welham this season; that is to step-up, fight for his place, impress Chezzie and nail a starting berth and contract extension during 2016. I don't think he needs a change I just think since the problem with his spleen by his own admission he gets ill easily and is unable to train I don't think he will be able to play top level again and we will probably sign for Halifax mid season

Really awful for the lad, I did my ACL at nineteen, if that hadn't happened, I could have been a contender...

Yep I hope we can find some more is their any nasty props down in the other leagues

Anyone else still worried that our recruitment in the backs by Chester will be undermined by our pack losing the forward battle as seen so often last season? I like the forwards we have signed but we are still missing power, most of ours are grafters which is fine but we need a couple of line breakers.

If recruitment is now over, as suggested by HDM, then I'd certainly be worried about lack of power in the pack. As you said, we got bullied way too many times last year and as we'd be going with essentially the same forwards as last year then I guess it would be more of the same. Hopefully the coaching staff see this and have got a couple more signings lined up. As the saying goes, forwards win the match, the backs decide by how much.
