Hudgell is now in panic mode trying to fix problems he created and others rightly or wrongly will be made scapegoats. Hudgell is living off his saviour tag and what your Club needs is a new leader or it will get worse, this is from someone who has been given spin and false dawns down the years the difference this time is although Pearson has made some mistakes with poor advice he is genuine admits his mistakes and is above all honest..can that be said of Hudgell
Yes, Pearson has always been quick to 'take responsibility' for the mistakes he attributes to Peter Gentle, and would never scapegoat anybody - not even Peter Gentle, even though it was clearly and unequivocally his fault, as AP is always eager to acknowledge.
As for Hudgell, panic is an understandable, if not necessarily helpful response. We're in a mess right now. Smoking people out is one thing, but getting others in who can do a job is the bigger challenge. People might not be buying into what the board are trying to achieve, but rather than dishonesty that
might be because:
1. They don't have a clear idea of what it is or at least how it is to be achieved.
Or
2. They know what it is, but they don't believe in the plan. It is very hard to avoid becoming dispirited if you think you are working to a flawed plan, especially as it impacts your future employment prospects.
