Probably a tougher game than you'd expect given both teams season so far? Chisholm back in fold must be a positive for them, he's played well against us this year.looking forward to fev v London game also. Trying to get a few 1st try scorers bets on but don't think any high street bookies doing the bash? I know Sky bet price our league but am loath to have any online accounts due to ease of spunking cash.Had a 5 er on Dawson for Leigh @10s which doubled and same on BJB @5s again doubled.betfred do good offers on superleague. Anyway back to the game and seems Bulls fans expect a big loss?its generally never that simple with KR though so will swerve betting on us minus 26..
2 Bull fans overheard me asking in the bookies about a 1st try scorer SP for Bentley and they wondered why a Rovers fan would even consider it? They had placed a wager on Heffernan and Shaw! Bentley has paid for my weekend, get in!
I'll watch the playback on Monday but my initial response to the match, and one I have harboured for most of the season, is Rovers half backs do not dominate their opposite numbers. For me this is a major failing and was woefully exposed by Lilley (again). IMO the only dominant performance I have seen from the half backs was when Blair started at 6 against Batley and Ellis shined against Leigh.
Before the match Sheens called for progression, and setting aside the atrocious weather, I doubt he will see any improvement in overall performance once he sees the stats and reviews the video. He can maybe take heart from solid goal-line defence and a fighting spirit to overcome a resilient Bulls side but I doubt little else.
They say you take any win but for me the ugly wins are starting to stack up, and with only a third of the season remaining I am starting to wonder if there is any further progression to be seen? I know this sounds harsh but the warning signs are flashing.
