| There's a big similarity to brexit. We're leaving SL on the narrowest of margins like we're leaving the EU on the narrowest of margins.
In both we must make a success of the situation and move on.
In both we had idiots that used the outcome as an excuse for violence.
The big difference is that we need to get back into SL whereas we need to stay out of the EU.

| That he put his hand up to play is the measure of the man.
That he needed to is the measure of his plan. Whether he had much room for manoeuvre, I don't know, but his line was uncompromising - a characteristic better suited to a pack leader or captain than a DoR.
Fine margins between winning and losing, and determined/stubborn/obstinate.
If he can learn from it can be an asset, but whether a smaller organisation needs so many chiefs is debatable.

To extend the simile, will it be a hard or soft SLexit, gambling on getting back ASAP or making a success of life in in the second tier?
Running a full-time squad will be tough, without the Sky money, lower gates and less sponsorship.
Sheens is supposed to be coming no matter what, but then Cameron was going to stay on as PM and immediately do that article-whatever thing, so we could quickly have all the rules without the representation, or invoke Anglo-Juche.
Difficult choices.

Is the fact that he put his hand up to play more a reflection of his inability to have the skills to solve the problems KR had in a way more suited to his current role. He'd been successful on the pitch so thought he could play KR out of trouble rather than deal with the issues he helped create. Did the fact he did that smack of desperation to the others in the squad and put doubt in their minds?
He should never have been in a position to have to put on his boots. He should have made sure of that. Other clubs brought in players to make sure they had the right personnel in place before the deadline- KR did not. That is in large part his failing.
Whatever people think of JP as a past player- he just seems way out of his depth off the field in this kind of role.

| Peacock might be doing his job very well, but no one outside of the club seems to understand quite what his remit is.
His arrival has coincided with a car crash of a season. He's bound to be seen as guilty by association.
Sad way for a champion player to bow out though.

| Peacock is not to blame solely for this season. This has been coming since a few years ago.
Hudgel and Crossland bare the brunt for this horrible horrible season, and I will also say Chester also (good luck wakey next year, you'll need it now he's got a full season and pre season with you).
We've gone down the cheap route since 2009 and the progressive decline should of set alarm bells ringing well before this season.
So now we are in this mess and the thing that does spring to mind harps back the the fans forum, when a guy ask the question that rovers could be relagated. Peacock literally scoffed and made fun at the possibility of it, that now has become a reality and I hope that this air of arrogance has now gone. Anything can happen.
It looks like we're going full time next year. Hudge has pretty much confirmed this. So the players we need to keep, I hope have a conscience, and realise they've got us in this mess and be good enough to repay both the club and fans by staying. Tho I'm not naive to realise some will not give a fig and move elsewhere.
Hudge and Crossland now look set to lose £1.5 million between them now. Time to stop ploughing money into sponsoring Hull city and put that money into our club.
Going to be an interesting week to say the least.
