I'm a Hull fan and thankfully eden never played for my club. He's never more than inches from one of his usual brain fart. I guess when his replacement is kieran dixon I can see why you're pining for eden
You must be the only one pining for Eden because no one that I know at Rovers and that's a fair few, have any such thoughts in relation to that suggestion, in fact I've never heard so much rubbish.
Greg Eden came to Rovers with much potential but never reached the heights that many thought he would. Dixon came to the club as bit of a novice, moving from Hemel stags and then to London Broncos in 2012 before a long injury interrupted his career and he didn't really play again until 2015 when he signed for Rovers.
During that time he has had his ups and downs no doubt but pound for pound and given the fact he is still a bit raw in Rugby league terms I would have him over Eden any time of the day.
I've seen and even played when I was a young whipper snapper, (many moons ago now)
with some very good players over the years and would like to think I've seen enough of them during that time to recognise a good player when I see one, even after recognising some obvious flaws in some.
Dixon, in my mind is still very much on a learning curve and I would bet against anyone that given the right coaching and encouragement, will become a very good player.
He is after all still very young with time on his side.
