If this signing is true then someone is leaving (Sio?) or has there been a change in the definition of non-UK trained players.

I seem to recall a challenge to this aspect of the Quota system (I think it might have been one of KouKashes rants) but I see the 5 home grown players rule seems to have been abandoned?

Rumour on Twitter by the usually well informed "@HullKR Analysis" is that Allgood is the one to come off quota.
It doesn't say how it will happen or where the information came from though.

According to Rugby League Project he has played 18 games 14 of which on the wing. Roopy may have some info. on him.

If there is any rationale to this signing, I am going to attempt to justify it below. Shoot me down in flames if you disagree.

Salter still touch and go for the Cas game; Minns inexperienced; Blair likely to play in the halves alongside Albo as Marsh ineffective; Horne needed in the second row, where we are desperately short of bodies, size and depth. Sio at fullback. Sio and Horne are unsuitable for the centre position and Chezzie might have finally got the message in this regard.

Samoan Sami has played at centre twice for the NSW Cup team of the year in 2014 and 2015, the first time alongside Josh Mantellato. Mitch Allgood is a jock. # It's all McGood.

PS - He's cheap

Surely if Mitch comin off the quota meant us having a spot left... It should have been put to better use. I.e. A big back rower preferably by the name of tony Williams. yet again everyone can see we need more power up front... So what do we do... Sign a back!! Typical

The YouTube footage of his 2014 highlights is a decent watch, but the centre who puts him away all the time looks a better player!
