I'm not actually convinced it is a criminal offence to enter the field of play at a rugby match. It definitely is at a football match but I'm not sure about rugby. Can anyone tell me which law is being broken?

Quick question for all the Hull fans on here, does anyone think that it was acceptable to run on the pitch?

I think it's acceptable to go on the pitch to celebrate with the players !!!

I don't think it's acceptable to go on the pitch and sing/antagonise the opposition fans !!!

Side note .....I don't think any club is whiter than white in reguards to idiot fans ... Yes we've had our club shamed in the past in reguards to the posts at Huddersfield but don't pretend your clubs fans have been any better

The question was not whether its acceptable but whether its a "criminal act" as you said it was. Are you backtracking on that now?

I would say its unacceptable to enter the field of play while the match is in progress, but its ok to go on to celebrate at the end, provided its not with the intention of committing a criminal offence eg assault.

The mild booing of the west hull ( and other teams players) players was ( and they were loving it by the looks on their face) a bit of fun, so don't try to mistake that with idiot fans getting on the pitch and making an booty of themselves. And just prior to that they were wrestling with the stewards trying to get to the south corner of the east stand, and if the stewards had not stopped them then I hate to think what could have happened.
