Once this meeting has been arranged a wide advertising campaign will be put out to advise everybody who is interested when and where it will be held. The snipe about Mike Smith was totally unjustified as he was orginally advised the meeting started at 7.30pm, this was a breakdown in communication which was totally out of his control. As soon as the problem had been discovered he was called and he left home immediately in order to get to the stadium as soon as possible. The fact that the meeting was delayed by 10 to 15 minutes while waited for other fans to arrive also helped him to avoid missing anything important.
With regard to some people have their own agendas that might be so, but the Trust will not stand or fall on one persons say so, it will stand or fall on a majority decision of eveybody who attends the open meeting.

The reason why this meeting wasn't advertised widely was quite simple. Originally it was an informal meeting arranged by Hull KR Supporters Association as part of their usual committee night, the arrangements with Supporters Direct had already been arranged when it became clear that two other groups were interested in investigating the possibility of a Supporters Trust, this being the case and with the article appearing the Hull Daily Mail the committee decided to open the meeting up to all Supporters groups and the Club were also invited to take part. As regards the Club not being interested, it apprently is something that they have discussed recently and contact has already been by one of the Supporters groups.

I hope this puts everybody in the picture and kills some ill informed rumours

That explains why he was late. Why did he talk rubbish?
