At home games I always have a couple of pints in the Robins nest, last season had a moan about the rising cost of a pint, this season £5.90 for a pint of bitter and a pint of Lager is just to much, I noticed the bar was not as full as usual, as I think people will just have a pint elswhere.
Same here, we were shocked at the price rises in the bars , £3 a pint, enough is enough, in future we will be going in soccer sensations.
For landlords and bar owners to put up prices as they are during the present economic climate is financial suicide imo, like someone else has said on here you can go into town and pay a great deal less, in fact you can go to Lambwath on Lambwath rd and get a pint of fosters for around £2 a pint.
If they can do it why cant Rovers and the Crown pub on Holderness rd who are also guilty of hiking the prices beyond what is reasonable.
Many pubs are absorbing price rises by the breweries but some seem to think that we have got bottomless pockets. they are slowly killing the goose that lays the egg.
