What has being a FC fan got to do with it? Forget who you support it is irrelevant...no attmpt at a TACKLE was made. It was a shoulder charge into somebody who was making a try making pass. Very poor technique in my opinion.

The FC reference was me stating my objectivity to you and not being a blinkered rovers fan. Poor technique or not it was a fair hit. He was committed to hitting Bailey as he offloaded. Its unfortunate that Bailey twisted as he offloaded and Briscoe couldnt really pull out of it.

It was the fact that Briscoe's forehead smashed in to Bailey's right temple that knocked him out, but it was a perfectly ligitimate challenge as the headbutt was not intentional.

As for the start of this thread, it was probably the awful state of the pitch that caused Mcguire to fall
