The man has got 4 years championship experience and has played in a decent Fax team, could he be the short term answer to our half back problems and help us bounce straight back in to SL???

With his knowledge of that particular league I think he may be an asset!

Scott was a good player for us but we shouldn't consider him. We really need SL players or near SL quality players. Marsh might do OK in the Championship but we need an SL quality halfback alongside him. That might be Blair if he stays, although I'd prefer Blair to be leader of the pack.

I suggested Chisolm, but didn't realise Bulls had him long term. I'd be happy to get Lovegrove back but he's contracted as well.

My guess is that Sheens will sweet talk an NRL halfback to join us and maybe a big mean Forward as well.

Damn, if only Weyman didn't have to retire last year...

If thats the standard of player you believe we require to get back up into super league then all i can say is thank god you're not the coach or football manager.
Murrell was an ok player but he's certainly nowhere near good enough to get us back where we want to be in my opinion.
If we are to be serious about bouncing back at first attempt then we are going to have to get some real quality, there are some decent teams in the championship and i dont believe it will be easy by any means.

Why not see if we can gat a full squad of ex-average to crap Rovers players, we could tempt Stu Farr out of retirement and then maybe put together a deal for Lindsey Johnson. Murrell was an average player with 110% heart, he is past his best and we should only go for him in a back room position if at all.

Agree last time i so murrell he can still play just but is to fat and slow no thanks
