If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.

Away Defeat at Warrington : Sun Feb 14, 2016 5:27 pm
Listened to it on the radio.

We've solved our away form and inconsistency then!

Sounds like we gifted them 75% possession mostly in our half, if not through error then through penalty. Sounds like we had no luck and some bizarre decisions against us. Attack misfired again.

Defensive tiredness opened up the floodgates towards the end. Heard Graeme Horne was out on his feet most of the second half, yet Holker didn't get on until minute 70 as a replacement for James Green. Bizarre coaching from Chester. Doesn't trust Holker with many minutes it seems.

Will watch on Hull KR TV and post further comments.

Men against boys, we better get used to it again.

I said after the Cas game that it felt like a preseason friendly. We seem to be pretty far off being ready for the start of Super League if you ask me.

How have we got into this state when a third of our team is unavailable thru injury and suspension after only two games?!

The players put some real effort in today, as always, they deserve a better system than the one we have. Our coach and Poching need to go, we need an experienced head in charge. For those that will say we are too small, we are not, we have some big lads in our side our problems are the defensive system. Anyhow, we must be big enough to let Coxie go!

Let's face it we are not good enough
Too many players either not good enough
Not big enough and a coaching staff that should have gone when Sanndercock went
A chairman that is a great supporter and kept us afloat but seems not strong enough
But most of all a OCE or whatever his title is was ok at Skirlaugh but when it comes to superleague as about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike
He goes to Australia and listens to the agents over there who are second hand car salesmen for that is all they are selling cars that no one else wants and as supporters we stand for all the bull dung they want to throw at us
But to top it all so the word on the street is Macnamara to take Chesters place next year
GOD help us if that happens mind if we are in the championship he might look good there but I doubt it.
Ok it's only 2 games in and maybe I am panicking, too right I'm panicking we have more holes in our defence than the proverbial cullender
Get rid of Chester now give it to anyone that wants it for we can't get any worse

Our defense isn't organized, so our players are getting injured because they're tackling the opposition when the they are running at full tilt.

Got to agree with you about Chester and Macnamara, but we need something we have never had in Super League, an experienced coach.

Everything will be fine once you get campo and lunt back

Joking apart, you're suffering from a lack of investment in your youth structres since you came into SL. Now you've piggy backed onto our excellent youth structure it will all come good. It's what the mysterious 5 year plan is.

Y1 - convince pearson to give us a massive leg up by giving us access to his youth development set up
Y2 - sign some over the hill aussies, championship players and leeds cast offs - do well in the middle 8's
Y3- sign some over the hill aussies, championship players and leeds cast offs - do well in the middle 8's
Y4 - sign some over the hill aussies, championship players and leeds cast offs - do well in the middle 8's
Y5- Pray that some of the kids coming through actually want tot sign for us and not Hull

Joking apart, whilst Hull's overseas recruitment has been good in the off season (excellent even), I bet they're not paying more for their overseas players than rovers are. Where Hull are benefiting is having young local lads in the mix who probably cost less than market value. It's the same model which has seen leeds, wigan and saints be successful in recent years. You just can't spend your way to success as the good doctor is finding out at salford.

Anyway, you're probably a point ahead of where you expected to be at this stage and a relatively easy 2 points to come next week then a game against a saints side who look out of form and will be backing up from the WCC. You could be 5 points from 8 in a couple of weeks

Surely Mcnamara will have benefitted from his time at the Roosters in the NRL and in charge of England. Must know good defensive structures than the ones we are deploying at the mo.

Surely you could have only dreamed of picking up an ex international coach with experience in SL and the NRL? mcnamara fits the bill to a tee for you
