I agree nothing ventured nothing gained, I wonder if they have thought well outside the box & share the facilitys of Hull city as well (medical, physio ect) it would bring savings & cost beafits to all three clubs.

Why on earth would Hull City want to share their medical team with the City of Hull Academy? They have a team of full time medical professionals.

The new academy is based at Bishop Burton College, the home of Hull FC's current youth set up and Hull City's Scholorship set up. Why would you want them to leave what is a fantastic venue to go and train at City's first team training set up in Cottingham?

You're making it sound like West Hull ARLFC moving in with Hall Road Rangers.

There is a lot of things that all three clubs are using, sports medicine equipment & practitioners, the cost could well be spread across all teams, first to the academy's. The same goes with purchasing kit & equipment the savings benefit everyone the football offsets some cost & the rugby gets better value for money by sharing, its not rocket science?
