Prop forward mitch allgood is fit to play on sunday despite having broken the top of his thumb.Chester said "with the right strapping and injections he is fit to play" "He wants to play but will need an op in the close season.Hopefully a bit of good news at last,greenwood and salter also available.

Usual madness I'm afraid. Playing an unfit player that's not worked out so well for us last season.

Rugby player with broken thumb..that'll help his ball handling and tackling. Needs an op but puts it off for 8 months. Brave but thoroughly daft. Firm management would say...get the op done we can get by with 5 props.

totally agree. Stupid decision to keep playing him.

Plenty of players play with this type of injury. They'll numb it for the game so he won't have any feeling and it won't affect him. He'll probably get horrendous arthritis in it in later life though

Aside from the fact that he's now got a new nickname - NUMB THUMB - I reckon he'll be a useless toss*r until he gets it fixed. Bum bum.

If he's going to start doing that with his numb thumb it'll be like having a new girlfriend....without the earache.
