Hmmmmmmmm.

I'm not sure he's earned a 3 year deal based on this year's performances. He played well today but he's right at the centre of Rovers biggest problem (lack of size & class in the back row).

Had wind he was signing a few days ago. Other pressing matters tho is his fellow countryman. Boudebza is on the same wages as a few on the young first teamers. He's been offered a contract on similar terms as he is on now. But after his performances this year is after more. And rightly so. A couple of super league teams are more than sniffing around too apparently.

He's a good player just been used wrong this season mainly because of injuries

I think the issue is around balance as much as quality. I like Horne, Larroyer, Donaldson, Clarkson (tbc), Ollett. They're not going to frighten SL, I admit, but they're solid.

It's just a bit like looking at a plate of pasta, rice and potatoes. All of which I like, but it doesn't give you a great appetite.

Donaldson seems to get smaller every time I see him he's not a second row far to small gives 100 percent but don't think its enough
