in the 1st half, both sides were pretty even...neither side made many mistakes, with warrington concentrating on getting the basics right and getting their confidence back. rovers seemed rather flat and gave some stupid penalties away, which helped warrington. saying that, all three of their tries in the 1st half were pretty soft ones to give away.
2nd half rovers started well, and dobson almost put lovegrove in, which could have been a big moment, but instead warrington got some momentum and looked more like the side they should be, as their fans got behind them. by the time rovers got back and started to look dangerous, it was a bit too late. they still had chances, but seemed to be putting themselves under pressure, forcing passes and making mistakes.
overall, i think it was a bit of both, but if rovers had been playing the way they have been in recent weeks, from the start, i think the game could have been very different.
